Getting Started

What age is Learn with Kit designed for?

Learn with Kit is designed for children ages 0–5. The content is organised by developmental stage, from simple shape and color recognition for infants to early reading and counting for preschoolers. Parents and caregivers can guide younger children through activities together.

How do I download the app?

Learn with Kit is available on the Apple App Store. Search for "Learn with Kit" or tap the Download on the App Store button on our home page. The app is free to download with no credit card required.

Does Learn with Kit work offline?

Yes! Core learning content — including all alphabet, numbers, shapes, and colors lessons — works fully offline once the app has been installed. An internet connection is only needed for initial download and to sync progress across devices (if applicable).

What devices is the app compatible with?

Learn with Kit requires iOS 15.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone and iPad. The app is optimised for both phone and tablet screen sizes. For the best experience with young children, we recommend using it on an iPad.

Privacy & Safety

Is Learn with Kit safe for my child?

Absolutely. Learn with Kit contains zero advertisements, no in-app social features, no chat, and no links to external websites visible to the child. The app is a completely enclosed, distraction-free learning environment.

Does the app collect data from my child?

No. We do not collect any personal information from child users. We only collect aggregate, anonymised usage data (such as which topics are used most) to improve the app. Audio processed during interactive exercises stays on the device and is never transmitted. Is Learn with Kit COPPA compliant?

Yes. Learn with Kit is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Read our dedicated COPPA Notice for full details.

Does the app have ads?

No — never. Learn with Kit is and will always be completely ad-free. We believe children's learning apps should be safe, focused spaces free from commercial interruptions.

Who designed the learning content?

Our curriculum was developed in consultation with early childhood education specialists and follows established frameworks for pre-K learning, including phonics-first literacy and hands-on numeracy approaches. The content is reviewed periodically and updated based on learning research and parent feedback.

How does the star reward system work?

Children earn stars by completing activities. Stars unlock new adventures and bonus content within topics, giving children a sense of progress and achievement. The system is designed to encourage, never punish — there are no penalties for incorrect answers, only gentle encouragement to try again.

Account & Billing

Is Learn with Kit free?

The app is free to download and includes a generous set of content at no charge. Optional premium features may be unlocked via in-app purchase through the Apple App Store. We will never hide core educational content behind a paywall.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

All subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. To manage or cancel, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iOS device and select Learn with Kit. You can cancel at any time and will retain access until the end of the current billing period.

Can I use Learn with Kit on multiple devices?

Yes. You can download the app on any iOS device signed in with the same Apple ID. In-app purchases can be restored at no charge by tapping "Restore Purchases" in the app settings.

Technical Support

The app isn't working correctly. What should I do?

First, try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, try restarting your device. Make sure you have the latest version of the app installed (check the App Store for updates). If the problem continues, please contact our support team with a description of the issue and your device model and iOS version.

How do I report a bug or suggest a feature?

We love hearing from parents! Email us at support@boroughtech.com with your feedback. Bug reports are especially helpful when they include your device model, iOS version, and a description of what happened. Your input directly shapes future updates.

How do I delete the app and all associated data?

To delete the app, press and hold the Learn with Kit icon on your home screen and select "Remove App." To request deletion of any account or usage data we hold, email support@boroughtech.com. We will confirm deletion within 30 days.
